Q1 Where can I get information about visa issuance in English?
A You can get information in English by calling http://www.visa.go.kr or 1345.
Q2 Where can I get information on foreign employment?
A You can get some information of job openings by visiting So-hyeon, Ahn(#3406, staff) ) in the department office.
Q3 Where can I get lab information (project, research, salary, etc)?
A You can get relevant information by attending an open lab event or by contacting a lab student or professor directly.
Q4 Where can I get information about equipment needed for student research?
A You can inquire to the equipment holding lab directly or by contacting Jaehoon Seul, staff), about renting the laboratory room.
Q5 Where can I find lost items?
A In case of lost items in electronic buildings, it is usually accepted in the department office.
Q6 Where can I find announcements for events, seminars, etc.?
A It is announced through ee-homepage(http://ee.presscat.kr), e-mail, and Facebook.
Q7 What should I do when I want to transfer to KAIST during my exchange student?
A Since there is no transfer system, students must enter the school as a freshman through admission process
Q8 Can I earn credits from my previous school?
A Up to 66 credits can be recognized.
Q9 Is it possible to participate in the InterShip Program after the exchange student period and before admission?
A The internShip Program (Cuop) is a program for KAIST students. So you can contact interested labor department office to find out if you are hiring interns.
Q10 Where can I get information on graduation requirements?
A You can get relevant information from the ee-homepage(http://ee.presscat.kr)-Academics-Undergraduate program/ Graduate program-Graduation Requirements.
Q11 Where can I get an EE recognized journal list for Ph.D. candidates?
A Materials are posted in the Department Office(http://ee.presscat.kr) - Intranet – Databases.
