개요:

Bio-impedance is the electrical tissue impedance which can be calculated by the ratio of AC current and potential difference between electrodes. As the bio-impedance changes according to the internal status of human body, e.g fluid status, cell composition, etc., it is a promising tool to be used in various applications of both clinical and lifestyle domains. The research in Holst Centre/imec Netherlands covers chip and system design, algorithm development, clinical validation and analysis. In this presentation, on-going researches on bio-impedance and its applications will be introduced.

연사악력:

Seulki Lee graduated from Department of Electrical Engineering, KAIST, Daejeon, Korea, in 2007 and received the M.S. and Ph.D degree from KAIST in 2009 and 2012, respectively. Her Ph.D. research focused on low power System-on-Chip and system design for wearable body area network (BAN) such as patch-based sleep monitoring system.

In March 2012, she joined to Biomedical Application System (BAS) department of Holst Centre/imec Netherlands as a researcher, with the main role to build wearable biomedical sensors and systems, validate and analyze the result for novel applications in clinical and lifestyle area. Her current research interests include but not limited to: 1) low power bio-impedance system and 2) its clinical applications such as congestive heart failure (CHF), sleep apnea, or dehydration monitoring, as well as 3) the smart textile system and applications.
