Professor Jung\u2019s team will present a total of five papers in the upcoming May-June issue on \u201cCache Coherent Interconnects and Resource Disaggregation Technology\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;color: #000000\">Among them, three papers focus on applying Compute Express Link (CXL) to storage systems. Especially, the team introduces solutions to improve the performance of CXL-SSD, a concept for which Professor Jung suggested a practical implementation in early 2022. These technologies enable memory expansion through large-capacity SSDs while providing performance comparable to DRAM.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_197298\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-197298\" style=\"width: 900px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-197298\" src=\"http:\/\/ee.presscat.kr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/IEEE-Micro-56\uc6d4\ud638\ub97c-\ud1b5\ud574-\uacf5\uac1c\ub418\ub294-\ub17c\ubb38-\ubaa9\ub85d.png\" alt=\"&lt;IEEE Micro 5\/6\uc6d4\ud638\ub97c \ud1b5\ud574 \uacf5\uac1c\ub418\ub294 \ub17c\ubb38 \ubaa9\ub85d&gt;\" width=\"900\" height=\"504\" title=\"\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-197298\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">\u3008List of Papers to Be Published in IEEE Micro\u3009<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;color: #000000\">The team also explored storage architectures incorporating In-Storage Processing (ISP), which performs computation directly inside the storage pool.
