{"id":116135,"date":"2018-07-13T12:46:33","date_gmt":"2018-07-13T03:46:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/175.125.95.178\/press\/16135\/"},"modified":"2026-04-18T05:44:11","modified_gmt":"2026-04-17T20:44:11","slug":"16135","status":"publish","type":"press-post","link":"http:\/\/ee.presscat.kr\/en\/presses\/16135\/","title":{"rendered":"Professor Euijong Whang, AI with Google 2018 conference presentation and panel discussion"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Professor Euijong Whang of our department made a presentation and participated in a panel discussion with industry experts at the &#8216;AI with Google 2018&#8217; conference, sharing ideas and challenges about AI innovation under the theme &#8216;AI for All&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>In this event, Dr. Jeff Dean, Head of Google AI gave a keynote lecture and Professor Euijong Whang was the only one from academia who participated in the event and gave a presentation on&nbsp;&#8216;AI Research and Talent Development at KAIST&#8217;. In the following panel discussion, they shared their knowledge of AI innovation and our future challenges.<br \/>\nProfessor Whang had worked as a researcher at Google Lab for 5 years.
