A research team led by Prof. Sung-Yool Choi of our department and Prof. Keon Jae Lee of the Department of Materials Sicence and Engineering has successfully developed a new graphene synthesis technique to form graphene anywhere on a single-crystal silicon carbide (SiC)-based circuit board using lasers.  <\/p>\n

The works of this joint research, participated by Prof. Keon Jae Lee of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering and Prof. Hyungjun Kim of EEWS, were published in Nature Communications (international journal) with the title “Laser-induced phase separation of silicon carbide” (authors include Prof. Sung-Yool Choi, Ph.D. Insung Choi, and 10 others).<\/p>\n
