  1. Applicability<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Undergraduate students who entered the university after 1998 and have<\/p>\n

    satisfied credit requirement for graduation (those who have satisfied<\/p>\n

    the requirements for undergraduate course work including AU in<\/p>\n

    physical education, voluntary service and etc.), but failed to meet<\/p>\n

    the English requirements.<\/p>\n

    – Students entering KAIST in 2015 or before: 130 credits or more<\/p>\n

    – Students entering KAIST in 2016 or after (including students on Advanced<\/p>\n

    major or Individually designed major without regard to their entering<\/p>\n

    year status): 136 credits or more<\/p>\n

    1. Application Period: January 15(Monday), 2024 ~ January 19(Friday), 2024<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

       <\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Certificate Issuance Procedure: After applying on the Academic System,<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        submit online before the deadline.<\/p>\n

        \u203b Academic System[Academic Records => Apply school register change => Apply<\/p>\n

        for Completion] \u2192 Obtain approval of department official \u2192 Obtain<\/p>\n

        approval of department academic advisor \u2192 Obtain approval of the head of<\/p>\n

        department \u2192 Students must submit it online before the deadline on the<\/p>\n

        Academic System<\/p>\n

        \u203b If the student fail to submit the application online by the deadline, it<\/p>\n

        will be automatically cancelled.<\/p>\n

        \u203b On the deadline, students cannot apply it online. Students must complete<\/p>\n

        the Application for Issuing Certification of Completion (form for the<\/p>\n

        deadline) \u2192 Obtain signatures of relevant faculty \u2192 Submit the form to<\/p>\n

        the Academic Registrar’s Team (ART) by January 19(Friday).<\/p>\n

         <\/p>\n

          \n
        1. Process for the Students Who Obtain the Certificate<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          – Students do not sign up for courses and they will be exempt from tuition<\/p>\n

          fees.<\/p>\n

          – When the students meet the English requirements(regardless of the<\/p>\n

          prescribed academic time limit), he\/she will be able to get bachelor’s<\/p>\n

          degree on the graduation date(according to the academic calendar)<\/p>\n

          after undergoing necessary procedure including review of each college.<\/p>\n

          – The Office of Academic Affairs (Academic Registrar’s Team) will notify<\/p>\n

          the list of the students who have received the certificate to the<\/p>\n

          relevant colleges, and the relevant colleges will utilize the results<\/p>\n

          as reference data for graduation evaluations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
