{"id":114244,"date":"2016-11-28T16:08:44","date_gmt":"2016-11-28T07:08:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/175.125.95.178\/bk21plus-notice\/14244\/"},"modified":"2026-04-16T11:33:37","modified_gmt":"2026-04-16T02:33:37","slug":"14244","status":"publish","type":"bk21plus-notice-post","link":"http:\/\/ee.presscat.kr\/en\/bk21plus-notices\/14244\/","title":{"rendered":"[BK21Plus] Research Professor &amp; Postdoctoral Researchers Recruitment Notice"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The KAIST Future Telecommunications Researcher Development Group (School of Electrical Engineering) is recruiting Research Professor &amp; Postdoctoral Researchers who can lead in the cutting edge of telecommunication technologies by separate two terms.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1st Recruitment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Recruitment Areas: all areas dealt with in the School of Electrical Engineering<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Recruitment Period : January 1, 2017 ~ December 31, 2017<\/p>\n<p>(New Research Professor: it starts from March)<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Application Deadline : December 13, 2016<\/p>\n<p><strong>2nd Recruitment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Recruitment Areas: all areas dealt with in the School of Electrical Engineering<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Recruitment Period : March 1, 2017 ~ February 28, 2018<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Application Deadline : December 28, 2016<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Eligibility<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Research Professors:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; At least 2 years of work experience in the field of telecommunication technologies after receiving one\u2019s Ph.D.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; At least 1 SCI publication (as first author) within the past 1 year<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Postdoctoral Researchers:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Application within 5 years of receiving one\u2019s Ph.D., Age limit: below one\u2019s Forty.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Prospective Ph.D. graduates can also apply and will be employed after receiving the degree.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Forms and Documents Required from Prospective Recruits (Applicants)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>BK Researcher Recruit Employment Plan (attachment 1)<\/li>\n<li>BK21 Plus Researcher Application Form (Korean: attachment 2, English: attachment 3, photo required)<\/li>\n<li>Letters of recommendation from 2 people other than the recruiting professor(only for visiting professor applicants, recommendation letters must be sent directly by the recommenders via postal mail or email, however, emailed letters must contain the writer\u2019s signature)<\/li>\n<li>Research Professor Employment Application Form, Evaluation Form (attachment 4, 4-1, only for Research Professor Applicants)<\/li>\n<li>Guidelines for the Appointment of New Researchers (Korean: attachment 5, English: attachment 6)<\/li>\n<li>Proof of your Ph.D. degree (or that of soon-to-be recipient of the degree)<\/li>\n<li>Proof of employment from your most recent occupation and\/or proof of main work experiences (for those who are applicable)<\/li>\n<li><u>Proof for research achievements<\/u><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Refer to the \u201cBK21 Plus Postdoctoral Fellow Application Form\u201d for the format of the research achievement list<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 30pt\">&#8211; Submit the first page only<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 30pt\">&#8211; Submit the first page for international conference publications<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 30pt\">&#8211; If the first page does not include the publication year and month, the name of the author(s), and the name of the conference, include the page that explicitly states the mentioned information in addition to the first page.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 30pt\">&#8211; For accepted journal publications, include the page that explicitly states the publication issue for the given publication (they will not be considered as accepted works without this)<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 30pt\">&#8211; Can be submitted as a digital file (as long as it follows the formats listed above)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3.
