Q. What made you come to KAIST?<\/b><\/p>\n
A. After receiving my Masters and Ph.D. in KAIST, I spent more than 10 years abroad working in various organizations, from a company, a research center, to the National University of Singapore. After the appointment of President Nam-pyo Suh at KAIST, I decided to take a position in KAIST because I felt that I shared many of President Suh\u2019s visions and I hoped to contribute to making my alma mater a world-class university.<\/p>\n
I think KAIST\u2019s biggest strength comes from the fact that it is a research-centered university. The principle agent for research is \u2018people.\u2019 In this context, KAIST not only has outstanding scholars, but also provides excellent facilities and ample time for one to focus on their research. The research-conducive environment that is provided was another reason I decided to come to KAIST.<\/p>\n
